Roots & Branches ring with Ethiopian opal, sterling silver handmade band

Roots & Branches is a handmade sterling silver ring I build from tiny silver twigs, letting them twist like real roots. I darken the silver with an oxidized finish and then polish the high points, so the texture stays sharp and a little mysterious.

In the center sits a natural Ethiopian opal cabochon (7x5 mm). It has a soft blue-green glow that shifts in different light like something alive under bark. This ring feels more “grown” than “made”… maybe the work of dark elves, who knows. :)

Metal: solid 925 sterling silver (nickel-free)
Finish: oxidized (blackened) + hand-polished highlights
